For 20 years I was the mathematics teacher at Mbale Primary School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

What gifts mean to Mr. Bakari: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me mathematics in 2013 at Mbale Primary School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
