I taught environmental science and English literature at Zagazig Boys' School, Zagazig. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 890 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
