For 17 years I have been the special education teacher at Crown Middle School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ayala: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
