I taught English literature at Thiruvananthapuram Public School in Thiruvananthapuram from 1980 to 2005. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I ran the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.

If you were in my Grade 11 class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
