Mr. Ávila

14 years teaching biology in Medellín

  • 🇨🇴 Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia
  • Westbrook Secondary School
  • Since 2015
  • English
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and eleven years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ávila: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
