Mr. Ávila

Teacher at Phoenix Academy, loves design and technology

🇨🇴 Envigado, Antioquia, Colombia
2010 to 2024
Spanish

I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 14 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Mr. Ávila

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
