Mr. Avila

23 years teaching geography in Leicester

  • 🇬🇧 Leicester, England, United Kingdom
  • Maple Ridge Technical College
  • Since 1988
  • English
I teach geography and mathematics at Maple Ridge Technical College, Leicester. I answer every email, even at midnight. I've run the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Mr. Avila

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Avila: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
