I teach drama at Iztapalapa Primary School in Iztapalapa since 2001. Most days I teach primary school children, and my door is open at lunch.
Over the years I've had 1,500 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ávila: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me drama in 2014 at Iztapalapa Primary School. I still remember the long bus ride home.
