I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 31 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ávila: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me design and technology in 2000 at Hillcrest High School. I still remember the end-of-term party.

I was in your Year 7 class in 2007. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Lille.
