Mr. Ávila
32 years teaching special education in Bogotá
- 🇨🇴 Bogotá, Bogotá D.C., Colombia
- Heritage Grammar School
- Since 2005
- English, Spanish
For 21 years I have been the special education teacher at Heritage Grammar School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ávila: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
