Mr. Austin
38 years teaching French in Philadelphia
- 🇺🇸 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States
- Kingsway Academy
- Since 2001
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 25 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Mr. Austin
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Austin: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me French in 2019 at Kingsway Academy. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
