Mr. Austin
16 years teaching mathematics in San Jose
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
- San Jose Grammar School
- Since 2005
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 21 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I never turn anyone away.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Austin
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Austin: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me mathematics in 2022 at San Jose Grammar School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on

A small gift is a big thank-you.
