I taught design and technology at Our Lady of Peace Middle School in Kikuyu from 1998 to 2020. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 1,140 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
