I taught environmental science at Gateway Girls' School in Mukono from 2009 to 2022. Most days I taught Year 10, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer. Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.

What gifts mean to Mr. Athumani: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
