Mr. Aslan
Special education and French teacher, Bornova

For 47 years I have been the special education teacher at Bornova Academy. I teach Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Aslan
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Aslan: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
