I teach English literature at Kingsway Boys' School in Shinjuku since 1992. Most days I teach Grade 11, and my door is open at lunch.
Over the years I've had 1,330 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Aoki
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Aoki: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
