Mr. Andrade
Accounting and home economics teacher, Rio de Janeiro
- 🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- 2005 to 2021
- Portuguese
For 16 years I was the accounting teacher at Meadowbank Public School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Andrade: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
