Mr. Ando

28 years teaching biology in Kyoto

  • 🇯🇵 Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan
  • Northside Public School
  • Since 1980
  • Japanese
For 46 years I have been the biology teacher at Northside Public School. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've run the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.

More about Mr. Ando

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ando: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
