For 21 years I was the social studies teacher at Beacon Primary School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,240 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
