Mr. Amaral
Teacher at Phoenix High School, loves Spanish
- 🇧🇷 Belém, Pará, Brazil
- Phoenix High School
- Since 1982
- Portuguese
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 44 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Mr. Amaral
If you were in my Year 10 class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
What gifts mean to Mr. Amaral: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me Spanish in 2001 at Phoenix High School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
