Mr. Alvarez
Chemistry teacher at Brisbane Secondary School, 2005 to 2017

For twelve years I was the chemistry teacher at Brisbane Secondary School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Mr. Alvarez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Alvarez: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me chemistry in 2014 at Brisbane Secondary School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
