Mr. Álvarez
24 years teaching art in Tacoma
- 🇺🇸 Tacoma, Washington, United States
- Since 2009
- English, French
For 17 years I have been the art teacher at St. Mary's Secondary School. I teach Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the robotics club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Álvarez
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Álvarez: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
