I taught accounting and geography at Hope Public School, Coyoacán. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Álvarez
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
