Mr. Alvarez
Music and drama teacher, Knoxville
- 🇺🇸 Knoxville, Tennessee, United States
- Since 1988
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 38 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Alvarez
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Alvarez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
