For 17 years I have been the early years teacher at Oakwood Academy. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Álvarez
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
