Mr. Alvarez
Teacher at Oakwood Academy, loves art
- 🇺🇸 Dallas, Texas, United States
- Oakwood Academy
- Since 1997
- English
I teach art at Oakwood Academy in Dallas since 1997. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
More about Mr. Alvarez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Alvarez: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I was in your mixed-ability classes class in 2002. You believed I could do it before I did!
