Mr. Álvarez
Music and French teacher, St. Louis
- 🇺🇸 St. Louis, Missouri, United States
- St. Louis High School
- 1990 to 2000
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 400 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Álvarez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Álvarez: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
