Mr. Alvarado
Teacher at Silverlake Middle School, loves history

I teach history and religious studies at Silverlake Middle School, Orlando. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 560 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Alvarado
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Alvarado: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
