Mr. Alvarado
Art and English literature teacher, Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- 1990 to 2002
- English
For twelve years I was the art teacher at Oakland Academy. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 370 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Mr. Alvarado
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Alvarado: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
