For nine years I have been the statistics teacher at Mount Pleasant High School. I teach Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Almeida
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Almeida: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
