Mr. Aliyu

History teacher at Ikeja Grammar School, 1995 to 2010

  • 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Ikeja Grammar School
  • 1995 to 2010
  • English, Yoruba
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 15 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Mr. Aliyu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me history in 2014 at Ikeja Grammar School. I still remember the rainy sports day.
