Mr. Ali
French teacher at Fairview Middle School, 2004 to 2025
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- 2004 to 2025
- English, Bengali
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 21 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Ali
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ali: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
