Mr. Alemu
13 years teaching drama in Gondar
- 🇪🇹 Gondar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Northside High School
- Since 1989
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 37 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Alemu
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Alemu: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me drama in 2023 at Northside High School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand

You taught me drama in 2003 at Northside High School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Greetings from Bakersfield.
