Mr. Alemu
Chemistry and religious studies teacher, Jimma
- 🇪🇹 Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Jimma Secondary School
- 1995 to 2022
- English, Amharic
I taught chemistry at Jimma Secondary School in Jimma from 1995 to 2022. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 1,050 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mr. Alemu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me chemistry in 2016 at Jimma Secondary School. I still remember the rainy sports day.
