Mr. Alcantara
Art and religious studies teacher, Makati
- 🇵🇭 Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Lotus Boys' School
- 1983 to 1999
- English, Filipino
For 16 years I was the art teacher at Lotus Boys' School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 740 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Alcantara
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Alcantara: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
