For 29 years I have been the accounting teacher at Holy Cross Secondary School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Alcantara
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Alcantara: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
