For 37 years I have been the drama teacher at Pioneer Academy. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm learning the guitar.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Alcantara
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Alcantara: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your primary school children class in 2025. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Lexington.
