Mr. Alcantara
Statistics teacher at Riverside High School, 2009 to 2023

I taught statistics at Riverside High School in Memphis from 2009 to 2023. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 780 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Alcantara
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
