Mr. Alam
Teacher at Ashford Primary School, loves physics
- 🇧🇩 Narayanganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Since 2000
- English, Bengali
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 26 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 570 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Alam
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Alam: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
