Mr. Akter
Home economics teacher at Dhaka Middle School, 1999 to 2024

I taught home economics at Dhaka Middle School in Dhaka from 1999 to 2024. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mr. Akter: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
