Mr. Aktaş
13 years teaching chemistry in Bursa
- 🇹🇷 Bursa, Bursa, Türkiye
- Bursa Public School
- Since 1988
- English, Turkish
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 38 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Aktaş
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Aktaş: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
