Mr. Acosta
French and chemistry teacher, Bronx
- 🇺🇸 Bronx, New York, United States
- Jacaranda Public School
- 2001 to 2019
- English, Spanish
I taught French at Jacaranda Public School in Bronx from 2001 to 2019. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I ran the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Mr. Acosta
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me French in 2023 at Jacaranda Public School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Truly.
