Mr. Acosta
Teacher at Reading Academy, loves English literature
- 🇺🇸 Reading, Pennsylvania, United States
- Reading Academy
- Since 1993
- English, Spanish
For 33 years I have been the English literature teacher at Reading Academy. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Acosta
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Acosta: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me English literature in 2022 at Reading Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Truly.
