I teach English literature and art at Mount Pleasant Boys' School, Awka. I never turn anyone away.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Abdullahi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Abdullahi: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
