Mpho S. Fortuin
Professor of civil engineering, Cape Town University
- 🇿🇦 Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa
- Cape Town University
- 2014 to 2022
- English, Zulu
I taught civil engineering at Cape Town University from 2014 to 2022, and supervised 41 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I make terrible puns.
More about Mpho
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Mpho: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
