Mousumi Rina Sheikh

Musician with Dundee Fairview Quartet

  • 🇬🇧 Dundee, Scotland, United Kingdom
  • Dundee Fairview Quartet
  • 2005 to 2024
  • English, Bengali
I play flute and songwriting. I started in 2005 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I teach about 20 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Mousumi

I wrote my first song when I was 17. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Mousumi: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
