Mousumi Fatema Rashid
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- 1981 to 2002
- English, French
I've worked in tiling from 1981 to 2002. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 1,220 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Mousumi: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
