Moumita Dola Jahan
30 years teaching social studies in Gazipur
- 🇧🇩 Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Jacaranda Secondary School
- Since 2000
- English
For 26 years I have been the social studies teacher at Jacaranda Secondary School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Moumita
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
