I teach design and technology and home economics at Saint-Denis Public School, Saint-Denis. I never turn anyone away.
Over the years I've had 1,090 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Monique
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
