I've coached chess at San Jose Athletic Club since 2003. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mónica
If you played for me, you probably remember the last day before the summer holidays.
What gifts mean to Mónica: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2003. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Durgapur.
